Job Summary
HR Generalist role provides administrative HR support while ensuring California labor-law compliance, covering recruitment, policy implementation, benefit and leave administration (CFRA, FMLA, ADA), employee onboarding, HR audits, training coordination, HR reporting, and employee engagement. An on-site position for PAQ, Inc.’s ESOP-enabled, multi-store operation (Food 4 Less/Rancho San Miguel) with focus on regulatory compliance, recordkeeping, and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with relevant certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) a plus
- 2+ years HR experience in grocery or retail preferred
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office; Workday HCM is a plus
