Job Summary
HR Generalist role focused on recruitment and employee relations within a manufacturing environment; responsibilities include guiding performance management, ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies, conducting investigations, and partnering with managers to improve engagement, retention and productivity. Leads talent delivery through full-cycle recruiting using job boards, schools, career fairs and social media; drives improvements to recruitment processes and candidate experience. Requires 5+ years HR experience (2+ years as HR Generalist), 1+ year in employee relations investigations, and a Bachelor's degree preferred (equivalent experience considered); PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred. Strong communication, consultation and relationship-building skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered
- 5+ years progressive HR experience with minimum 2 years as an HR Generalist
- 2 years full cycle recruiting experience including sourcing, screening, selection, offer and negotiation and onboarding
- 1+ year experience of resolving employee relations matters and leading investigations
- Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) or Society of Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM CP®) certification, preferred
