HR Generalist

HR Generalist providing comprehensive HR generalist support with a strong focus on leave management, benefits administration, and employee relations. Serves as a trusted partner to employees and managers by ensuring policy compliance, operational excellence, and a positive employee experience across the full employee lifecycle. Key responsibilities include acting as the primary internal contact for LOA matters (FMLA, state leaves, parental, military, and company-sponsored leaves) in collaboration with Lincoln Financial Group, managing communication and return-to-work processes, educating employees on policies, handling employee relations intake, guiding policy procedures, analyzing trends to improve HR processes, and delivering day-to-day HR operations such as onboarding, offboarding, job changes, transfers, benefits education/open enrollment, performance management support, and HR policy updates. Maintains accurate employee records, supports audits/compliance, and assists with HR initiatives and system updates. Qualifications emphasize a bachelor’s degree, 5-7 years of HR Generalist experience in retail, strong knowledge of leave laws, UKG HRIS proficiency, and effective communication and confidentiality.
