HR Generalist

Job Summary
Manage employee relations matters for the Prior Lake and Winnipeg organizations, including serving as the primary HR point of contact for union employees and addressing workplace concerns under the collective bargaining agreement. Execute bi-weekly payroll processes, process high-volume HRIS transactions for employee lifecycle changes, and oversee annual benefits open enrollment while ensuring compliance with labor regulations. Collaborate with the Payroll and Benefits Manager on reimbursements and reconciliations, conduct exit interviews for offboarding, and coordinate performance review cycles. Prepare and analyze HR reports for leadership teams and serve as a liaison to satellite facilities. Maintain current knowledge of employment laws through ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or similar
- 5 + years HR and Manufacturing experience
- Understanding of employment law, compliance, benefits, payroll
- Accurate data entry skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting a union workforce is preferred
