Job Summary
Coordinate recruiting, advertising, and hiring processes for incoming talent while supporting the administration of the branch Affirmative Action plan. Facilitate new hire orientation, maintain relationships with temporary staffing agencies, and partner with branch management to promote consistent application of company policies. Support training initiatives, performance management, and employee benefit programs, including FMLA, Disability, and Workers' Compensation coordination. Provide guidance on employee relations, coordinate engagement activities, prepare separation paperwork, and ensure adherence to employment laws. This role supports the Fort Worth, Texas location within Leggett & Platt's flooring underlayment manufacturing business, serving approximately 90 employees.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years experience
- 5+ year experience in HRM
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience in a manufacturing or construction environment
- Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related area
- SHRM or PHR certification
- Manufacturing experience
