Job Summary
HR Generalist performing a broad range of administrative and strategic HR functions under the Senior Director of Administration, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits, compliance, employee relations, and training. Responsibilities include first-point contact for HR inquiries, explaining policies, managing applicant tracking, coordinating interviews, preparing offers and background checks, conducting new-hire orientation and I-9 enrollment, administering benefits, ensuring FMLA/LOA compliance, coordinating training logistics, supporting HRIS (iSolved) usage, generating HR metrics, and supporting audits. Requires a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, 3-10 years HR experience (manufacturing/multi-site preferred), knowledge of employment law and HR best practices, HRIS proficiency, and strong communication and organizational skills. Preferred SHRM or PHR certification and experience supporting both manufacturing and office-based workforces.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3-10 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or multi-site operations
- Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
