Job Summary
HR Generalist II responsible for providing comprehensive HR support for a defined group with emphasis on employee relations, engagement, and retention; coordinates and administers HR programs and policies; partners with corporate initiatives related to leadership development, compensation, benefits, compliance, training, and health and safety; advises management on employee relations issues, performance, and policy interpretation; assists with benefits orientation and onboarding for new hires, supports terminations and unemployment claims processes, analyzes turnover and other HR metrics, and helps create a positive work environment while ensuring legal compliance. Occasional business travel may be required; strong communication, problem-solving, and data-entry skills are essential. Modivcare’s benefits and equal opportunity commitments are noted.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Three (3) plus years of Human Resources experience
- ADP WorkforceNow and Vantage experience preferred
- Multi-state experience preferred (NJ, NY, CT, PA, FL, WV, MA)
- Excellent communication, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong knowledge of FMLA, FLSA, OSHA, ADA, and wage and hour
- Conflict resolution and mediation skills
- Interpersonal, time management, and change skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- HR policies interpretation
- Microsoft Office & HR systems experience
- Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Vlookups)
- Salary: $62,800 - $82,100
