Job Summary
HR Generalist II supporting the Plant Manager across HR areas including employee relations, record keeping, payroll administration, safety programs and benefits; administer disciplinary actions, assist with annual reviews and compensation adjustments, maintain HRIS and employee files, support open enrollment and inquiries, and partner with Environmental Health & Safety to support injuries. Strong interpersonal, written communication, confidential information handling, and Spanish-language skills are required; SHRM/HRCI certification is preferred. Works Monday–Friday 10:00am–6:30pm on-site in Hillside, IL, with full benefits, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) match, and opportunities for advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- 3-5 years of Human Resources experience as a Generalist/Coordinator
- Bilingual in conversational Spanish
- SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
