Job Summary
Process all employee paperwork and personnel transactions accurately, maintaining record-keeping databases and responding to inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures. Enter data into HRIS systems, generate scheduled reports, and act as a liaison with vendors while providing basic training to other HR staff. Serve as a subject matter expert in specific HR areas, assisting colleagues with special projects and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Provide front desk coverage and perform other essential functions as assigned. This role supports an integrated healthcare system with deep roots throughout the North Bay, working closely with multiple HR specialties to drive best practices in on-boarding and ensure an engaged employee experience.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in human resource management or equivalent field
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in human resource
- Significant responsibility in the areas of employment and recruitment, training/development, and/or manager coaching
- Preferably at a Business Partner level
- Calif Drivers Class C (CALC)
- Minimum 3 years experience in HR
- Managing and maintaining HR files independently
- Suggesting/inputting best practices
- Acting as subject matter expert in at least one area
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills across mediums
- Solution-based presenting
- Always clear and concise
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Understanding of employment laws
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with others in a flexible and cooperative manner
- Measles, mumps, varicella, and annual influenza immunizations
