Job Summary
Recruit, interview, and facilitate hiring for open positions while ensuring diverse candidate slates and guiding interview panels. Administer HR programs covering compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, and performance management by handling inquiries and coaching managers on employee recognition and discipline. Weave diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and belonging into all aspects of the employee life cycle, including revising policies and tracking mandatory training compliance. Assist with organizational design, workforce planning, and payroll processing, while submitting vendor invoices and staying current on employment law trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- three to five years of HR-related experience
- proven experience as an HR generalist
- Successful track record weaving diversity, equity and inclusion into HR programs and processes
- Strong evidence of having worked on becoming an inclusive leader
- Knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
- Effective coaching skills
- Experience in recruitment
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Demonstrated skill and comfort in building relationships with diverse groups of people
- Experience working across teams with the spirit of collaboration and partnership
- Excellent judgment and problem solving skills
