Job Summary
HR Generalist will lead HR Operations with broad responsibilities in benefits, compliance, and employee relations. Provides advisement to employees and managers, mediates employee issues, administers end-to-end leave programs (FMLA, ADA, disability), ensures compliance and audit-ready documentation, supports benefits administration and annual renewals, coordinates Open Enrollment, assists with onboarding and training, develops and enforces HR policies and the employee handbook, conducts annual harassment prevention and other required trainings, maintains HRIS data (ADP Workforce Now), and supports employee engagement initiatives. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are essential, with experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and familiarity with warehouse/industrial settings preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in HR required, with 3 years of employee relations and documentation and Leave Management experience
- SHRM-CP or PHR Certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of State and Federal law – NY State law a plus
- Bilingual preferred
