Job Summary
HR Generalist serves as the on-site HR resource for associates at the Fortune Brands Innovations Distribution Center in Las Vegas, handling day-to-day HR support, payroll review and timekeeping audits, data entry in Workday, benefits administration, onboarding (I-9s and new hire orientation), and screening/interviewing candidates. The role also includes creating associate communications, partnering with the engagement committee, supporting HR initiatives and ad hoc projects, and communicating policies and HR programs to hourly staff across a fast-paced distribution environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience and/or GED and equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in an HR environment supporting employee populations using HR systems (Workday preferred)
- Experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is preferred
