HR Generalist

Job Summary
Contribute to HR strategies by identifying talent needs, developing recruiting methodologies, and advising site management on workforce planning and employee engagement. Assess management capabilities, guide diversity and inclusion activities, and serve as a consultant on labor laws, policies, and change management. Manage the employee life cycle from onboarding to separation, develop local recruitment programs and budgets, and coordinate job fairs and school partnerships. Counsel management on policy interpretation, investigate policy violations, and craft programs to improve retention while ensuring compliance with government regulations. Partner with Total Rewards on benefit programs and administer local initiatives, including sustainability events, to support business growth and profitability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in education
- Experience in a Human Resource related function
- Minimum 4 years of HR Generalist or related experience
- Awareness of the functional impact upon work processes and other functions
- Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization from production associates through executives
- Ability to respond to customer complaints, employee issues and regulatory agency inquiries
