Job Summary
HR Generalist (Japan) within the Japan People Experience Team responsible for end-to-end HR operations, labor law/compliance, benefits administration, employee relations, payroll support, and HR projects. Key duties include onboarding/offboarding, handling employee inquiries, managing employee data, creating work/place attestations, supporting health initiatives (health checks, vaccination), benefits administration, time/attendance assistance, working with Labor and Payroll teams, translating materials (English→Japanese, Korean→Japanese), and updating policies per labor-law changes. Collaboration with US headquarters and Korea teams in a global environment, with proactive process improvements and utilization/optimization of HR systems. Requires 3+ years HR experience in Japan, knowledge of Japanese labor laws, strong communication and interpersonal skills, native-level Japanese, and business-level English.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years HR experience in Japan
- 理解と実務経験 of Japanese labor laws and Labour Standards Act
