Job Summary
Proactive HR Generalist responsible for onboarding, benefits administration and billing, HRIS data accuracy, employee relations, compliance, and supporting HR projects in a fast-paced, on-site role based in Hazleton, PA. The role requires coordinating full onboarding for new hires, managing benefits enrollment and related billing/reporting, maintaining accurate HR records, supporting vendor communications, assisting with open enrollment, and providing front-line HR support to employees and managers. Ideal candidates will be highly organized, able to work independently with minimal direction, possess strong customer service and communication skills, and maintain confidentiality across HR processes. On-site with a focus on operational HR support and continuous process improvements across a multi-location, field-based workforce landscape.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of Human Resources experience in a generalist, operations, or HR support capacity
- Experience with onboarding, employee benefits administration, and HR reporting
- Experience reconciling benefits billing and working with vendors preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal oversight
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service aptitude and employee support skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- AI knowledge is a huge plus
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Paylocity strongly preferred
- Experience supporting multi-location and/or field-based workforces preferred
- HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus
