Job Summary
HR Generalist responsible for onboarding, benefits administration, benefits billing and reporting, HR project administration, and providing support to employees and managers; on-site in Hazleton, PA; requires proactive, organized, independent work style with strong communication, confidentiality, and customer-service focus. Responsibilities include coordinating full onboarding, maintaining HRIS records, assisting with verifications, vendor coordination for benefits, open enrollment support, benefits billing reconciliation, HR documentation, and handling routine employee relations matters while supporting HR initiatives and process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of Human Resources experience in a generalist, operations, or HR support capacity
- Experience with onboarding, employee benefits administration, and HR reporting
- Experience reconciling benefits billing and working with vendors preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal oversight
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service aptitude and employee support skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- AI knowledge is a huge plus
- Preferred qualifications: Paylocity experience; multi-location/field-based workforce; HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus
