HR Generalist

Job Summary

Serve as a first point of contact for leaders and employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment-related questions. Conduct low-level employee relations investigations independently, including gathering facts, interviewing parties, documenting findings, and recommending outcomes. Triage and respond to a high volume of employee and leadership inquiries using the company's Salesforce case management system, ensuring timely and accurate resolution. Support disciplinary actions up to and including terminations while maintaining strict confidentiality. Administer HR policies, assist with onboarding, and maintain accurate employee records. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on employee relations, compliance, and operational support within the senior housing and healthcare industry.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-4 years of progressive human resources experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
  • Working knowledge of employee relations practices, corrective action processes, and basic employment law
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, and other equipment and objects
  • Ability to occasionally reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
