Job Summary
HR Generalist / Crew Scheduler at WK Kellogg Co in Battle Creek, MI plant. You will partner with Supervisors, Union Representatives and hourly employees to drive plant engagement, manage daily and weekly scheduling, administer leaves, and report HR metrics. You’ll collaborate with Shift Operations to process production paperwork, conduct investigations, issue attendance disciplines, and research grievances. You’ll help offboard and onboard employees by preparing training materials and maintaining documentation for new hire orientations, safety training, and job-specific training. The role requires adaptability in a 24/7 manufacturing environment, strong attention to detail, and solid communication and organizational skills. Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint is expected, along with a focus on providing excellent customer service and supporting plant projects and events.
Required Qualifications
- Proven strong ability to use independent critical thinking and decision making
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and needs of the business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Available to work any shift as well as some weekends/holidays as required
- Previous experience in a Human Resources environment, preferred but not required
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills – primarily Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
