HR Generalist

Job Summary

Serve as the primary point of contact for team member questions regarding policies, benefits, attendance, and workplace concerns while supporting investigations into conduct and policy violations. Coordinate recruiting activities including job postings, candidate communication, and onboarding logistics, ensuring smooth transitions through orientation and accurate personnel documentation. Maintain HR records and employee files in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, while managing leave administration for FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensation. Support payroll and timekeeping processes through ADP, including timecard reviews and attendance tracking, and assist with benefit enrollment and HRIS navigation. Assist with policy communication, corrective action documentation, and engagement initiatives such as recognition programs and wellness activities. Walk the production floor regularly to maintain visibility and foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork. Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience supporting employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and HR administration
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Ability to work onsite within a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to walk the production floor regularly and engage with team members across all shifts as needed
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
  • Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
  • Experience within a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment
  • Experience with HRIS systems
  • ADP experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
