Job Summary
Serves as first line of contact for associates regarding questions or concerns and troubleshoots benefits-related issues with third-party administrators. Owns the recruiting process by identifying candidates, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and managing preemployment paperwork including background checks. Coordinates associate relations issues, resolves conflicts, and advocates for associates while supporting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives and site philanthropy activities. Performs new associate orientations, processes orientation paperwork, and maintains personnel files, databases, and HR policies in compliance with federal and state laws. Assists the HR Manager in implementing programs and provides HR support to the site.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of recruitment & staffing practices
- Proficient in the use of Word and Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Understanding of Employment Laws (EEO, ADA, AA, FMLA, etc.)
- Unimpeachable ethics
- Ability to travel as necessary
Desired Qualifications
- PHR or SPHR certification
- 2 – 3 years work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Working experience with ADP and Workday
- Rolling out and enforcing HR policies and procedures
- Communicates well at different levels of the organization
- Ability to change priorities quickly
- Experience working in a matrix environment
