HR Generalist (Contractor, 6 Months)

HR Generalist to join a fast-paced AI-forward healthcare company on a 6-month contract. Responsibilities include payroll administration with Justworks, onboarding/offboarding logistics, performance management support, HRIS/ATS administration, employee records, policy drafting, and partnering with the HR Manager on cross-functional projects. You’ll use AI tools to streamline HR work, ensure confidentiality, and manage immigration and compliance basics while maintaining an audit-ready data environment. 3-days hybrid in NYC or Chicago; must be able to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and communicate effectively with sensitive information. The role offers hands-on ownership of the full employee lifecycle and potential for a full-time role for the right candidate.
