Job Summary
HR Generalist focused on leave administration and broad HR support across the employee experience in a fast-paced environment. Core duties include administering leaves (FMLA, CFRA, ADA) and accommodations, supporting full-cycle recruiting (job postings, screening, interviews, onboarding), ensuring compliance with California labor laws and HR policies, maintaining accurate HR records, reporting and audits, assisting with training and employee development, supporting engagement and workplace culture, managing HR documentation and investigations, and providing HRIS/HCM system support.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of HR experience (retail or grocery industry a plus)
- Working knowledge of California labor laws and leave programs
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
- Experience with HRIS systems (Workday is a plus)
- Associate’s degree in HR, Business, or related field is preferred (certifications a plus)
