Job Summary

HR Generalist provides day-to-day HR support for manufacturing operations, executing full-cycle HR functions from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and compliance. The role balances administrative excellence with accelerated support to ensure smooth HR workflows and a positive work environment on the floor. Key responsibilities include culture advocacy, talent acquisition, employee relations, process improvement, policy and compliance, lifecycle management, and organizational health, with emphasis on partnering with frontline leadership to enhance engagement, retention, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will manage recruitment, onboarding, investigations, documentation, and maintain accurate HR data while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; require strong communication, confidentiality, SAP SuccessFactors/HRIS and ADP experience, and a background in manufacturing environments. Education: bachelor’s degree required; certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP are preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Organizational Development, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Previous HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or comparable HRIS
  • Experience with ADP payroll/HR systems a plus
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement environments is highly desirable
  • Professional certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) preferred
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with high integrity
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners at all levels
  • Strong analytical skills and proactive, self-starting work ethic
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
