HR Generalist - Bilingual

Job Summary
Partner with leaders across multiple California locations to support employee relations, investigations, and recruitment. Conduct regular site visits to foster a safe, inclusive workplace while coordinating workers' compensation claims and leave administration. Deliver HR guidance, training on compliance and harassment prevention, and coaching to managers on documentation and policy application. Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to California employment laws. Serve as a bilingual resource for English- and Spanish-speaking employees, building trusted relationships throughout the field-based workforce.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably supporting multiple locations or field-based operations
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- Associate degree from an accredited college or university
- Strong knowledge of California employment laws, including wage and hour regulations, FEHA, FMLA/CFRA, leaves of absence, and HR compliance
- Ability to travel throughout California to support multiple worksites (reliable transportation required)
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Experience working independently, managing multiple priorities, and taking initiative
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification
- Experience supporting janitorial, facility services, construction, manufacturing, agriculture, hospitality, or other field-based industries
- Experience supporting hourly workforces and multi-site operations
