HR Generalist

Job Summary
HR Generalist responsible for executing core HR operations including onboarding, HRIS administration, personnel records, benefits and leave administration, training compliance, and day-to-day employee support across the full employee lifecycle. You will work closely with HR leadership to ensure HR processes are efficient, audit-ready, and aligned with regulatory and organizational requirements. This hands-on, operational role also includes opportunities to help build scalable HR systems as the organization expands. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality HR services with accuracy and compliance, serving as a primary point of contact for employees, maintaining and organizing digital personnel files, coordinating onboarding and offboarding, developing and following HR SOPs, supporting benefits and leave administration, drafting and processing offers and employment changes, tracking trainings and compliance, assisting with HR reporting and performance management, and partnering with HR leadership on organization-wide initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- 2-4 years of progressive Human Resources experience
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred (or actively pursuing)
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements
- Experience working in healthcare, behavioral health, human services, or other regulated environments strongly preferred
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset
- Process-oriented, with an interest in building structure, improving documentation, and standardizing workflows
- Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality
