Job Summary
Manage all human resource functions for the assigned location, including recruitment, new hire processing, benefits enrollment, and worker's compensation. Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations to ensure policies, procedures, and records are in compliance. Create and maintain a recruiting network to generate qualified applicants, conduct interviews, manage background verification, and make hiring decisions for the station. Plan and conduct new employee orientation, respond to inquiries regarding policies, and maintain local personnel files while auditing records for regulatory compliance. Become the authorized signatory for badging applications and serve as the primary point of contact for airport badging offices and regulatory agencies. Conduct wage and benefits surveys, research airport authorities for special regulatory requirements, and interact with employee groups to identify recruitment and retention issues. Schedule: 24/7 operations requiring flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays. Benefits: Comprehensive package including paid vacation, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, and free uniforms.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- Two years of related experience and/or training
- Demonstrated strong communication skills
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook software
- Be able to pass a drug screen
- Obtain airport security clearance
- Pass an extensive employment background check
- Pass a criminal record background check
- Pass a residence background check
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Be able to use close vision and ability to adjust focus
- Be able to work on weekends, (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and holidays
- Strict adherence to company attendance policies
