HR Generalist - 2nd Shift - Waverly, NE

Job Summary

Partner with business teams to implement and administer HR programs covering talent management, employee relations, performance management, and retention. Execute broad professional responsibilities including onboarding, benefits administration, compensation, and compliance investigations under limited direction from HRBPs. Provide counsel on policy interpretation and support HR initiatives involving change management, training, and data analysis for reporting and presentations. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition for new hire onboarding and work with leaders to create performance plans and ensure documentation accuracy. Conduct workplace investigations, track claims, and own administrative activities such as exit processes and employee transactions while supporting retention and engagement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or related field
  • 2-4 years of previous HR experience working in an HR business partner environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Outlook)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in conflict resolution
  • Experience in progressive HR project work
  • Experience in administration
  • Experience in performance management
  • Experience in benefits management
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships vertically and horizontally within an organization
  • High standards of ethical behavior, confidentiality, professionalism, and objectivity
  • Skillful in listening and ascertaining the needs and concerns of people, and in communicating information concerning processes, policies, and procedures with accuracy and clarity
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Ability to analyze data
  • Ability to handle competing priorities and adapt comfortably to interrupted workflow
  • Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Willingness to work 2ND SHIFT
