Job Summary
HR/Executive Assistant provides administrative and operational support to Human Resources and Executive Administration, including recruitment coordination, onboarding and new hire orientation, HR policy/procedure guidance, confidentiality, records management, employee engagement initiatives, and general administrative duties; requires strong organizational, communication, and customer-service skills, ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive, independent work style; position based in O’Fallon, IL, with hourly, non-exempt status.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of two (2) years of related administrative or Human Resources experience required
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow professionally
- Working knowledge of human resource principles, practices, and procedures
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related office software applications
