HR Director/Business Office Manager

Job Summary
Act as the initial point-of-contact for all HR and accounting matters, managing the local recruitment process including ATS updates, candidate outreach, screening, and onboarding. Interpret policies for employees and communicate them proactively or in response to questions. Process accounts receivable, accounts payable, and monthly billing statements while answering resident inquiries. Handle employee payroll, archive records, and analyze departmental payroll variances against budget. Gather monthly accruals from department heads and produce proposals and presentation packets. Maintain close relationships with corporate accounting, Human Resources, and Organizational Development teams. Requires a business degree, three years of business office experience with HR and accounting, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree in a Business-related field
- 4-year degree from an accredited university in a Business-related field preferred
- Must have excellent organizational skills
- effective written and verbal communication skills
- knowledgeable regarding payroll systems
- basic GL and Accounts Payable systems
- 3 years of business office experience with HR and accounting
- Prior Human Resources experience
- Prior education in Human Resources
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Knowledge of HRIS system
