Job Summary
HR Data Analyst – Compensation & Rewards to analyse payroll and workforce data, support compensation planning, conduct salary benchmarking and job evaluation, and assist in developing and administering salary structures and reward frameworks. Responsibilities include preparing compensation analytics reports and dashboards, monitoring payroll accuracy, supporting annual salary reviews and reward administration, maintaining compensation databases, and collaborating with HR and Finance on budgeting and compliance with labour regulations. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience in compensation/HR analytics, strong Excel skills, experience with HRIS/payroll systems, and familiarity with salary benchmarking, job evaluation, and payroll administration. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in compensation & benefits, payroll analytics, HR analytics, or related HR data-focused roles
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, dashboards, and data analysis tools
- Experience using HRIS and payroll systems
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
- Understanding of Nigerian labour laws, PAYE taxation, pensions, and statutory deductions
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
