Job Summary

Manage Business Unit recruitments and HR generalist activities, sourcing, interviewing, and selecting highly technical talent while handling staff retention and performance monitoring. Lead end-to-end payroll administration, including monthly processing, statutory compliance, financial reconciliations, and timely remittments for assigned entities. Develop and implement HR policies, assist in employee counseling and disciplinary actions, and maintain secure filing systems for confidential documentation and administrative records. Requires 6+ years of HR experience, bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin, and the ability to work beyond standard hours to meet payroll deadlines. Own transport required.

Required Qualifications

  • Well versed in Mandarin
  • Manage all our Business Units' recruitments activities and HR generalist activities
  • Time allocation 80% Recruitment, 20% payroll
  • Ability to attract talent for highly technical talents
  • Preparation and processing of monthly payroll
  • Ensure that all documentations are complying with internal standards, statutory requirements, and deadlines
  • Responsible full spectrum of HR and administrative functions, including staffing and performance monitoring
  • Recruitments and staff retention
  • Assist Management in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Handle end-to-end payroll administration
  • Ensure accurate processing, timely payouts, and compliance with statutory requirements
  • Prepare and manage administrative documents (letters, contracts, confirmations, promotions, resignations, etc.) and renewals
  • Monitor the efficiency of monthly payroll
  • Ensure all statutory contributions are timely remitted
  • Prepare all financial-related reconciliations
  • Provide guidance and assistance to employees, as needed
  • Participate in employee counseling sessions
  • Address disciplinary matters
  • Take appropriate action when required
  • Maintain a secure and organized filing system for confidential information
  • Take charge of office admin tasks, including office maintenance, quotations, etc.
  • Maintain a meticulous filing system for documentation and records
  • Demonstrate strong recruitment skills, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates effectively for various roles
  • Bilingual in English with Mandarin (including reading and writing)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 6 years working experience in HR functions or a similar role
  • Ability to lead
  • Ability to implement Human Resource Information System
  • Knowledge of best practice HRIS
  • Well-versed with the latest employment act
  • Good knowledge of HR best practices
  • Good knowledge of payroll system
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
