Job Summary

Coordinate the recruitment process from job posting through onboarding, source candidates via job boards and employee referrals, and conduct initial screenings and interviews. Maintain accurate personnel files, process employee status changes, and assist with benefits administration and compliance with Ohio employment laws. Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, support management with employee relations matters, and promote a positive workplace environment. Assist with new-hire onboarding, orientation, and required employment documentation while ensuring accurate HRIS records. Work full-time, on-site in Newark, Ohio, Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 3 PM.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of professional HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment and talent acquisition processes
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates
  • Working knowledge of general HR practices, policies, and procedures
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with employees and managers at all levels
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems, and other HR technology
  • Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to work full-time, on-site in Ohio
  • Position requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to stoop, crawl, bend, twist, reach, and crouch
  • Lift and carry up to 50lbs

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, construction, or similarly fast-paced work environment
  • Experience recruiting for hourly, skilled-trade, technical, or high-volume positions
  • Knowledge of Ohio employment practices and applicable federal employment requirements
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms (ADP)
