Job Summary
Coordinate day-to-day administrative and operational support for the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition team, managing employee onboarding, offboarding, and confidential record maintenance. Assist with benefits administration, employee communications, and the preparation of HR reports and correspondence. Support the Associate Director of Human Resources with special projects, process improvements, and the coordination of meetings, events, and training programs. Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and candidates regarding policies, benefits, and timekeeping while ensuring all documentation aligns with company policies. This 7-month temporary contract begins with an in-office presence in Pomona, CA, transitioning to a flexible hybrid schedule upon proficiency. The role offers a $25 hourly rate with a $2,500 completion bonus upon successful fulfillment of responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, HR administration, recruiting coordination, talent acquisition, or a related field
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Experience working with an HRIS, applicant tracking system, or other HR technology preferred
