Job Summary

Coordinate employee onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration across Canadian and U.S. workforces while maintaining accurate, confidential HR records. Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and employment matters; prepare contracts, job classifications, and termination documentation in accordance with legislation. Facilitate new hire orientations, administer recognition programs, and support engagement initiatives like culture surveys. Analyze workforce metrics to drive continuous improvement and prepare reports for leadership decisions. Develop training materials for HR systems and assist in internal and external audits. This hybrid role based in downtown Toronto requires three days in-office weekly and is ideal for someone balancing administration with employee support.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or College diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • 1–2 years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Working knowledge of Canadian employment legislation
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including reporting, data analysis, and dashboard creation
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with employees and leaders across multiple functions
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret HR data and identify meaningful insights
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with confidence interacting across all levels of the organization
  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential information
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to continuous learning and improvement
