HR Coordinator

Job Summary
Prepare disciplinary forms, process new hire paperwork including Form I-9 compliance, and manage employee status changes and terminations to maintain accurate, audit-ready files in Workday. Coordinate onboarding logistics, schedule HR meetings and training sessions, and serve as the Tier 1 point of contact for routine employee inquiries while triaging complex cases to HR Business Partners. Perform regular data audits to ensure system integrity and generate standard reports as requested. This role supports the operational backbone of the HR team in a manufacturing environment, enabling higher-level specialists to focus on strategic case work.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of experience in an HR administrative, coordinator, or generalist support role
- Working knowledge of I-9 compliance and standard new hire/termination documentation requirements
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when handling sensitive or confidential employee information
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
- Clear, professional, and approachable communication style for handling employee-facing questions
- Comfortable working onsite full-time in a manufacturing environment
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with an HRIS platform; Workday experience strongly preferred
