Job Summary
Create and maintain an extensive recruitment network with community colleges, travel academies, and public agencies to attract qualified applicants. Interview and select candidates while overseeing background verification and new hire orientation. Conduct wage and benefits surveys to determine regulatory requirements for airport and port authorities. Maintain accurate records of benefits participation, personnel transactions, and employee statistics for government reporting. Act as the primary point of contact for team member inquiries regarding policies and programs. Perform administrative tasks including payroll, accounts receivable, and labor compliance reports. Work flexible schedules covering weekends and holidays to support 24/7 operations.
Required Qualifications
- at least two years of human resources experience
- direct employee contact (recruiting, hiring, discipline, conflict resolution, etc.)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- two years of related experience and/or training
- Demonstrated strong communication skills
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook software
- Be able to pass a drug screen
- obtain airport security clearance

- Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
- occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- use close vision and ability to adjust focus
- work flexible schedules which may be adjusted to meet operational demands such as flight delays or cancellations
- work on weekends, (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and holidays
- Strict adherence to company attendance policies
