Job Summary
Support the full-cycle recruitment process for hourly roles, including machine operators, line workers, sanitation staff, and warehouse associates by posting openings, maintaining candidate records, and coordinating interviews with hiring managers and shift supervisors. Manage new hire onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance documentation, including background screening, open enrollment, and benefits vendor invoice processing. Maintain accurate employee records, prepare HR reports, and update policies while ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws. Work closely with the Recruiting and Total Rewards teams at a food manufacturing facility, requiring occasional visits to the plant floor and wearing required PPE.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Understanding of safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience supporting high-volume or hourly recruitment in a manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environment
- One to two years of experience in HR, recruiting, benefits administration, or an administrative support role
- Exposure to benefits administration processes and systems
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification, or progress toward one
- Exposure to both the office setting and food manufacturing facility
- Significant amount of time working at a computer station
- Occasional visits to various areas of the manufacturing floor
- Must wear required PPE while in all manufacturing areas
- Frequent sitting, standing, or walking
- Occasional ability to lift up to 20 lbs
