Job Summary
Founding HR consultant role launching a new Nxt Level HR practice. You will own strategy, delivery, and growth for the practice, serve as fractional CHRO/Head of People for multiple clients (Seed–Series B), stand up scalable HR tech stacks and processes, translate hiring plans into workforce plans and compensation frameworks, coach leaders, ensure compliance across states, and develop repeatable IP (templates, SOPs) to productize services. You’ll build offerings (Fractional HR, Org Design, Talent/People Ops, HRIS, Total Rewards, Performance & L&D, Manager Enablement, Compliance), define pricing, and drive revenue growth while mentoring new consultants. Nice-to-have experience includes prior consulting or fractional CHRO work, SHRM/SPHR credentials, and multi-country expansion exposure.
Required Qualifications
- 7–12+ years HR/People Ops experience
- experience as first/early HR leader in venture-backed startups (Seed–Series B)
- HRIS, policies, comp frameworks, performance cycles, ER, multi-state compliance
