Job Summary
Support client HR functions by implementing initiatives, managing onboarding and offboarding, and administering payroll and benefits processes. Recommend and implement HR policies aligned with business goals while maintaining compliance and employment laws. Manage multiple client engagements and priorities through direct collaboration with business leaders and internal team members. Provide hands-on HR support on an interim or project basis across varying industries and organizational sizes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field
- Certification in HR
- Minimum 5 years' experience in human resources
- Multi-state experience
- Demonstrated experience managing day-to-day HR operations
- Clear understanding of HR compliance and current employment law
- Experience making recommendations to company management both verbally and in writing
- Proficiency with HRIS and payroll platforms, Microsoft Excel, and other business software applications
- Ability to commute to clients in the Chicagoland area
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field preferred
- Certification in HR preferred (SHRM or HRCI)
- Multi-state experience preferred
