Job Summary
HR Consultant with expertise in Paylocity to support a managed services client engagement. The role involves conducting comprehensive HR department functional assessments, optimizing HR operations, updating policies and handbooks, advising leadership on organizational structure, talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations, and providing system configuration and training for Paylocity. Remote work with occasional travel to the DC area; requires governance and compliance across federal, state, and local regulations and ability to engage with executives across multiple clients. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills are essential, along with experience working with multiple clients in complex organizational environments.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive HR management experience, including consulting or advisory roles
- Proven experience with Paylocity, including system optimization and user support
- Strong background in conducting HR operational audits or functional assessments
- In-depth knowledge of HR policies, compliance, and best practices across multiple HR functions
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Ability to travel domestically as required by client engagements (estimated 10%)
