HR Consultant (HR Business Partner)

Job Summary
Partner with internal constituents to provide HR services and serve as a strategic resource on all employment matters for designated client groups with low to moderately complex needs. Assist with routine and moderately complex employee relations and performance issues while developing and implementing departmental strategies based on sound HR practices and operational objectives. Lead workforce planning, resource allocations, and training sessions to support team building, while providing data collection, analysis, and secondary support on employee relations investigations. This role requires a Bachelor's degree with five years of experience, or a Master's degree with eight years, and strong preference for PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP certification. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time Basis.

- Serve as the HR Consultant for designated client groups with low to moderately complex needs
- Assist with routine and moderately complex employee relations/performance issues
- Play a vital role in supporting and driving organizational change by empowering client leaders to make key business decisions
- Participate in workforce planning and resource allocations as led by client leadership
- Develop and implement strategies for designated departments based on knowledge of sound HR practices and operational objectives
- Develop training sessions to support effective team building to designated departments
- Provide support to the HR Consulting team by providing data collection, analysis and secondary support on employee relations issues and investigations
- Ability to comply with University policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
