Job Summary
HR & Compliance Administrator based at the Denver headquarters, full-time exempt role supporting recruitment, onboarding, performance management, regulatory compliance, payroll support, and office operations for a Denver-based earth retention and wall contractor. Responsibilities include developing recruitment strategies, creating job descriptions and competitive compensation, managing visa processes (H-2B/H-2A), maintaining employee communications, overseeing performance reviews and career development, implementing training programs, coordinating audits and compliance (DOT, DMV, insurance), handling onboarding/offboarding, maintaining confidential records, and serving as payroll backup in coordination with external bookkeeping. Requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, 5+ years HR experience, HRIS familiarity, and a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) with HR certifications (preferred). Salary range $85,000–$95,000 DOE plus benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in human resources or a related people operations role
- Experience in day-to-day office administration
- Demonstrated ability to manage full-cycle recruiting and onboarding processes
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience with HRIS platforms and employee record management
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience in construction, trades, or a field-operations-heavy industry is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent HR certification is preferred
- Experience managing H-2B, H-2A, or similar visa/labor programs is preferred
- Familiarity with ComputerEase, Trainual, or similar platforms is preferred
