Job Summary
Partner with leaders to align people and culture initiatives with business goals and local needs. Coach managers on leadership, feedback, and team performance while driving performance and development conversations. Lead local hiring, onboarding, recognition, and retention efforts, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and statutory reporting. Analyze people data to inform leadership decisions and continuously simplify HR processes. Report dually to the Head of HR and Region Leader. Requires 7+ years of HR experience, fluency in Spanish and English, and 25% travel. Based in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of HR experience
- at least 3 years as an Business Partner or Manager in Respective Country
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
- Functional knowledge of and/or resourcefulness to ensure compliance with local employment laws and best practices
- Proven experience in a global or matrixed organization
- Great communication and relationship-building skills across cultures
- A balanced mindset—strategic thinker and practical problem solver
- Comfort using HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors)
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Travel requirements of ~25%
- This is a full time in office position in Guadalajara, Mexico
