Job Summary
Conduct regional HR planning, coordinate compensation and recruitment, and ensure regulatory compliance with corporate policies. Mentor regional managers on organizational design, performance management, and workforce planning while coaching on key management issues. Establish working relationships with internal stakeholders, attend leadership meetings, and collaborate with the HR Service Center to deliver standardized programs. Analyze HRIS metrics to enhance solutions, address emerging trends, and educate staff on organizational policies and employment legislation. Support diversity and inclusion initiatives and reduce legal risk through fair, consistent employee treatment. Maintain currency on jurisdictional employment laws and share best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or any other related field
- 5 plus years of years of experience working with multiple human resource disciplines
- Knowledge of Human Resources functions, processes, and best practices
- Knowledge of Employment related legislation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and office support systems
- Familiarity with functioning of HR Information Systems
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, credibility, and confidentiality
- Collaborative approach with colleagues, employees, external contacts
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent demands
- Analytical ability and sound judgement, including the ability to apply established guidelines and criteria in diverse situations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or any other related field preferred
- A professional Human Resources designation would be considered an asset
