Job Summary
Manage end-to-end HR and general affairs operations across Valeo Japan's Power Division, including designing and improving compliant compensation, evaluation, and grading systems. Formulate dynamic headcount plans aligned with production fluctuations, oversee labor cost budgeting, and execute optimal talent allocation and transfer strategies. Enforce strict labor compliance by managing working hours, attendance, and labor relations, while serving as the primary liaison for labor unions and resolving disputes. Lead diverse employment management for technical interns, temporary staff, and global hires, coordinating visa processes and recruitment with headquarters. Drive talent development through plant-specific training, HR coaching for site managers, and "Quality of Life at Work" initiatives. Conduct regular audits for IATF and V5000 standards, manage facility logistics, and handle employee consultations. Requires 5–7 years of manufacturing plant HR experience, native Japanese proficiency, and conversational English.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 7+ years of hands-on HR experience at a manufacturing plant
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Conversational level or higher (with a continuous willingness to improve)
- Regular business trips to the Ora Plant
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Health Supervisor license holder (衛生管理者)
- Ability to communicate smoothly with shop floor workers (direct labor)
- Work experience in a foreign-affiliated company or overseas
- Work experience in the manufacturing industry (automotive, electrical appliances, etc.)
- Experience handling labor union relations
