HR Business Partner - Technology & Engineering (12 Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Job Summary
Partner with the CTO and Technology leadership team to provide strategic HR support, coaching managers on leadership capability, and guiding performance management and employee relations. Support organizational design, succession planning, and learning initiatives while using people data to inform decision-making and improve engagement. Act as a trusted advisor during organizational change, helping leaders communicate effectively and maintain team momentum. Work closely with the HR Director to monitor organizational health and build strong relationships across Engineering, Product, and wider business teams. This role shapes the People function within a fast-paced SaaS environment, offering autonomy to influence how Engineering teams grow and perform.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as an HR Business Partner supporting Technology, Engineering, Software Development or Product teams within a SaaS or technology business
- Strong understanding of the challenges and operating rhythms of software development environments
- Demonstrable experience coaching and influencing senior leaders and managers
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively while building credibility and trust
- Experience supporting organisational growth, restructuring and team development
- Strong knowledge of performance management, employee relations and talent development
- A background or strong interest in Learning & Development would be advantageous
- Commercially minded with the ability to balance business objectives with employee experience
- Confident working independently in a changing, fast-paced environment where priorities can evolve
Desired Qualifications
- CIPD qualification or equivalent professional experience is desirable
