Job Summary
Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, delivering strategic and hands-on HR support in a highly regulated nuclear environment. Develop collaborative relationships across the organization while managing full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried roles, including workforce planning, candidate selection, and retention strategies. Partner with business units to drive performance management, talent development, succession planning, and compensation, benefits, and rewards programs. Administer labor relations activities, including collective bargaining agreement interpretation and grievance administration, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and nuclear industry regulatory requirements. Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics to enhance organizational effectiveness. Requires unescorted access authorization to a nuclear generating facility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR or a related discipline
- Eight (8) or more years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Demonstrated Labor and Employee Relations experience
- Experience with contract and grievance administration
- Experience with investigations
- Experience with conflict resolution
- Experience with performance management
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proven ability to build credibility, influence leaders, establish trust, and navigate sensitive employee matters with sound judgment and discretion
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver results in a highly regulated, process-driven environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access authorization to a nuclear generating facility
- Extensive Nuclear Power Plant background security clearance
