Job Summary
Assist with requisition openings, confirm business approvals, and enter accurate posting information in the recruiting management system. Meet with managers to discuss new hire onboarding plans, goals, and expectation setting, while serving as a resource to new hires upon their start. Provide support and guidance to managers and employees through internal transfers, help prepare for annual performance reviews, and act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and issues. Conduct exit interviews to draw learnings, update employee records, inform Payroll for final pay, and notify the Technology Department and Security to disable access. Collaborate with HR and various departments on company projects, identify opportunities to build or improve processes, and ensure accuracy of employee records.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Communications or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience as a HRBP or related HR role including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, etc.
- Ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee and company information
- Strong communication (written and oral) and collaboration skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and strong relationships with business partners
- Critical thinking skills with an emphasis on curiosity and being agile/adaptable
- Pragmatic Approach: Make decisions based on practical realities rather than theoretical considerations
- People-Focus: Be aware of individual differences to help manage conflict and build confidence and connections
