Job Summary
Partner with plant leadership to align people strategies with production goals, analyze workforce trends, and execute enterprise HR programs including recruiting, performance management, and payroll. Lead employee relations investigations, resolve workplace concerns, and coach leaders on organizational effectiveness and accountability. Manage site-level onboarding, timekeeping, and leave processes while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Champion PTK values through floor presence and engagement initiatives, providing feedback to Centers of Excellence to improve organizational tools. Support organizational changes and safety partnerships to sustain operational performance and workforce stability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing/plant environment
- Demonstrated strength in employee relations, investigations, performance management, and leader coaching in an hourly workforce environment
- Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA, ADA, FMLA, EEO) and ability to apply policy consistently
- Experience executing HR processes using HRIS/timekeeping systems
- Strong attention to detail and process discipline
- Ability to build trust with leaders and employees, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment
- Strong communication and influence skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and maintain high-quality output
- Regularly required to sit; use hands to fingers, handle controls; and talk or hear
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stand; walk; and occasionally stoop
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
