Job Summary
HR Business Partner to support HR initiatives for the assigned client group at Palomar Health. Acts as primary contact for employee and management inquiries regarding HR policies and processes; coaches leaders on performance management, feedback, and planning; uses Just Culture resources and provides education as appropriate. Partners with leaders to uphold compliance standards (Joint Commission, Dept. of Labor, HR policies) and fosters a compliant, high-performing work environment. Supports benefits enrollment, LOA/return-to-work inquiries, and develops/trains on new or revised HR programs. Delivers presentations and learning activities for leaders and staff, and interprets policies/guidelines for managers and employees. Requires Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2-4 years of related HR experience; preferred Master’s degree and PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
